Publications: Breach Report
When an organisation producing official statistics fails to comply with the Code of Practice for Statistics in relation to equality of access, integrity, confidentiality and release practices, a Breach Report should be sent to the National Statistician. More information is available in the guidance on breach reporting on the GSS Policy Store, where there is also a template for reporting breaches of the Code of Practice.
A breach report is not required where an exemption or exception has been approved by the Head of Assessment (Director General for Regulation).
Publications published by the Office for Statistics Regulation can be found on the OSR webpages.
