Dear Lord Forsyth,

I am writing to let you know that the UK Statistics Authority will respond to the Committee’s report ‘Measuring Inflation’ at 7:30am on 4 September, at the same time as the response from the Treasury.

I am copying this letter to the Chancellor, the Chair of the Treasury Committee, and the Chair of the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee.
