Partnerships

Collaboration and partnerships are at the core of our international work. We strive to build strong relationships with national statistical offices around the world in order to share best practice and improve harmonisation and modernisation of statistics.

We have several partnerships with key statistical organisations in the developing world. These include:

  • The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa
  • Ghana Statistical Service
  • Kenya National Bureau of Statistics
  • National Institute of Statistics Rwanda

ONS have signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with several other NSOs, encouraging greater levels of collaboration in areas of mutual interest. For example, our MoU with South Korea has enabled productive discussions on data science and data governance.  Meanwhile, we have recently signed an MoU with Pakistan’s Ministry of Climate Change to help develop the country’s first Natural Capital statistics.
